As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle.
Responsibilities
Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long term care facilities or patients' homes
Load products/materials
Maintain vehicle; report maintenance issues to management
Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws, regulations, and HIPAA to protect patient confidentiality
Support the pharmacy team in managing workstations and tasks to fill prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Geographical knowledge of service area
Flexibility required; nights and weekends
Current, valid driver's license in required vehicle category
Ability to drive for long periods
Customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver (limo, taxi, courier, gig economy, etc.)
Physical Requirements
Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day
Sit or stand 7–10 hours per day
Lift up to 25 pounds
Finger dexterity for office equipment usage
Good visual acuity for reading fine print; color vision and focus adjustment
Normal hearing required
May be required to work extended hours as needed
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Hours & Schedule
35 hours per week. Full‑time position.
Compensation
The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 – $23.56 per hour.
