**Job Title:** Enrichment Academy Instructor
**FLSA Status:** Part-Time/Seasonal
**Pay Rate:** $15.00-16.50 per hourReporting to the Youth Development Coordinator, this position plays a key role in ensuring program quality, consistency, and alignment with YMCA standards and values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. This role supports the Enrichment Academy model by delivering intentional, high-quality learning experiences that extend beyond traditional camp programming.
**Role Differentiation: Instructor vs. Lead Instructor****Personal Growth:** Seeks feedback, develops skills, and adapts to program needs* Coursework or degree in education, recreation, child development, or related field* Experience teaching or leading specialized programs (STEM, arts, sports, etc.)* Experience working with diverse populations* Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor programming* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and engage in physical activity for extended periods* Work environment includes classroom-style spaces, recreational areas, and outdoor settings
