JANITORIAL TEAM MEMBER - Sprowls Horizon Sports Park

REPORTS TO: FACILITY MAINTENANCE MANAGER
STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)
POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitorial Team Member. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on on-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Janitorial Team Member will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of office, spaces meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed
Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
Additional tasks assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years janitorial experience
Willingness to work a variety of shifts
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Capacity to take direction
Strong attention to detail
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time
Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, etc.)
Facility has intermittent noise
