SummitWest Care is a mission-driven, non-profit home health agency seeking compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregivers to support clients with daily living activities in their homes. Our caregivers help individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home throughout Mesa County.
No experience? No problem!
Paid training is provided.
Our experienced team of administrators, nurses, and fellow caregivers will support you every step of the way, so you feel confident and prepared in your role.
Current Scheduling Needs
We are interviewing caregivers today with availability on
Mondays ,
Tuesdays , and
Saturdays !
Additional shifts may become available based on client needs and caregiver availability. Schedules are built gradually based on client needs and caregiver availability, and may evolve over time.
(Note: Most care hours occur during daytime and early evening. No overnight shifts)
What You'll Do
Care responsibilities vary by client and usually involve a combination of the following:
Companionship & Homemaking
Light housekeeping
Laundry & dishes
Meal preparation
Grocery shopping & errands
Personal Care Assistance
Bathing, dressing, & grooming
Mobility & ambulation support
Continence care
Medication reminders
Health Maintenance (Training provided, RN sign-off required)
Vital sign monitoring
Safe transfers
Medication assistance
Additional tasks based on client care plans
What You'll Need
18 years or older
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
Compassion, reliability, and willingness to learn
