Job Description
Position Requirements
Paraprofessional certification training that meets NCLB requirements or a minimum of two years of study at an institution of higher learning (48 college hours) and/or an associate degree.
Educational aide experience preferred.
Eligible for state paraprofessional certification or comparable alternatives acceptable to the district; documentation of highly qualified status required.
Illustrative Duties
Perform clerical duties for the professional staff.
Conduct learning reinforcement activities under the direction of the professional teacher.
Care for the personal, social, educational, and health needs as required by professional staff.
Assist with and assume duties that will relieve professional staff.
Other duties as assigned by the principal.
