Just as our Smokehouses and the communities we serve continue to grow, and we want you to grow with us! Our back of house team members are extremely important to the Smokehouse.

YOUR PURPOSE:
As a back of house prep cook, your speed and consistency are imperative to our smooth operation and ultimately the satisfaction of our guests.

Our high standards of great food and service in a clean environment can only be achieved and maintained by a team that shares our values and desires to do the best job possible for every guest, every day.

This includes:

Following 4R recipes, reading and understanding prep lists and properly labeling, storing and rotating product.

Prepping items that are the backbone of all of our recipes. You are a central part of every guest experience and every meal we serve.

Even though the Smokehouse has different positions, it is important to know we are a TEAM–Together Everyone Accomplishes More!

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and organized work station

Adhere to First In First Out (FIFO) guidelines

Display knowledge of menu item ingredients and products storage

Complete entire prep list in an efficient and timely manner

Understand and adhere to proper cooling procedures

Operate and clean kitchen equipment including the tilt skillet, ovens, buffalo chopper and slicer

Safely use knives and other cooking tools

Qualifications:

Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and be detail oriented at an efficiently fast pace.

Must be team-oriented, dependable, adaptable and have a strong work ethic.

Guest service oriented

Former cook experience

Food Service experience
