
Controller

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and build the accounting function within a high-growth organization. This role will be responsible for establishing scalable processes, strengthening financial infrastructure, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in a rapidly evolving environment.
The Controller will serve as a key partner to executive leadership, owning day-to-day accounting operations while helping position the company for continued growth and potential future strategic transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and own all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, financial reporting, fixed assets, and technical accounting.
Establish and enhance accounting processes, controls, and systems to support rapid organizational growth.
Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Manage and execute the close process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Provide technical accounting guidance, including research and application of accounting standards.
Support audit activities and ensure readiness for external reporting requirements.
Partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives, including potential transaction or sale-related activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to drive business insights and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting (GAAP).
Experience in manufacturing or environments with cost‑accounting exposure highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build processes and operate effectively in a high‑growth, evolving environment.
Hands‑on mindset with willingness to take ownership across multiple areas of accounting.
Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors.
ERP system experience preferred.
