Multi-Categorical/Autism/Resource Teacher - Extended Year Services JobID: 62071
Responsibilities
Teach students with special needs in the Summer School Program from June 22, 2026 – July 10, 2026.
Provide educational activities according to each student’s IEP to help prevent summer learning loss and support transition to the next grade.
Attend meetings with school staff and administration to meet the critical skills of students.
Complete Medicaid billing as needed.
Complete additional activities or responsibilities assigned by the Principal, the Director of Special Education, or the Superintendent.
Qualifications
Special Education Multi-Categorical certification required.
Autism certification required.
If no certified applicants are available, persons currently teaching special education will be considered.
Terms of Employment
Monday - Thursday
June 22, 2026 - July 10, 2026
Compensation
Salary based on experience and education level per Clay County Board of Education Salary Schedule, plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
