Responsibilities
Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
No prior experience required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance.
Good human relations and communication skills.
Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
Job Conditions
Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Neat appearance is required for customer contact. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $21.05 per hour (pay transparency).
Full‑time position. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
