## Description---**Graduate Assistant for Track and Field****Charleston Southern University**---**Summary**Charleston Southern Athletics is seeking a dynamic graduate student to work as the **Graduate Assistant**position for speed and power events. This role is a coaching position working in all aspects of the track and field program, responsible for practice/ set up and breakdown, and other duties assigned by the Assistant Coaches & Head Coach. Full tuition for graduate school, meal plans, and on campus housing will be provided with a small stipend. Charleston Southern is a Christian University. Please note that a statement of faith is required when submitting all documents.

Accepted into Charleston Southern graduate school.**Experience:*** Experience as a Track and field student-athlete preferred.---**Essential Job Functions**The Graduate Assistant position will assist the CSU Track and Field Program in various areas. The position is critical in supporting Charleston Southern Athletics’ mission and vision by planning, organizing, and executing events, projects, and initiatives. •
Instruct and develop student-athletes in position-specific techniques, skills, and drills.

Implement practice plans for assigned technical groups; assist with overall unit and team practice planning.
•
Assist in recruiting visits
•
Assist in home meet management
•
Promote program in a Christian environment.
•
Other duties as assigned
