Position Summary
Lee Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced
Patient Experience and Engagement Specialist
to play a key role in advancing our mission of delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
This position serves as an integral partner in system-wide efforts to implement and sustain initiatives that drive excellence in both patient experience and team engagement. The Specialist will act as a mentor, coach, and consultant across the continuum of care helping leaders and teams adopt evidence-based practices that foster a high-performing, patient-centered culture.
This role collaborates closely with physicians, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to assess needs, design and implement solutions, and evaluate outcomes that support organizational transformation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor and facilitator to support patient experience and engagement initiatives across Lee Health
Partner with physicians, leaders, and staff to conduct needs assessments and identify improvement opportunities
Design, develop, and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance patient-centered care and team engagement
Lead and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and improvement initiatives across multiple levels of the organization
Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders, providers, and staff to support culture transformation and performance improvement
Drive adoption of best practices in organizational development, change management, and patient experience
Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously refine strategies to ensure sustained outcomes
Support the development of leadership programs for high-potential talent, frontline leaders, and system leadership
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree (required)
Masters degree (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in organizational development, culture transformation, or a related field
Proven experience in leading organizational transformation initiatives
Demonstrated success in building and delivering leadership development programs across multiple levels (executives, physicians, leaders, and frontline staff)
Experience in coaching, change management, and performance improvement
Skills & Competencies
Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
Expertise in coaching and mentoring individuals and teams
Ability to influence without direct authority and drive change across a complex organization
Strategic thinking with a hands-on, collaborative approach
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Licensure / Certifications
No specific licensure required
Relevant certifications in coaching, organizational development, or change management are a plus
