Job Description
Project Manager of Voice Radio and Communication (Microwave) Tower Modernization Projects

Key Responsibilities

Lead large, complex strategic projects, assuming accountability for delivering results

Manage projects, including company and External resources

Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using company's PMO tools and templates

Collaborate with stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.

Act as a liaison between technical teams, operational teams, and executive stakeholders.

Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure system reliability and security are addressed during the planning and execution phases.

Execute procurement and contracting activities, tracking, and reporting according to company's policies and procedures.

Identify, manage, and resolve inter-project/program dependencies, working with other PMs and company's stakeholders

Conduct analyses to estimate and track project costs and budgets

Define resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource managers

Manage vendor relationships to align vendor schedules, costs, and deliverables with the overall project plan

Ensure alignment of technical solutions with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Establish, maintain, and update project risk log. Resolve project issues and elevate as appropriate

Manage project change control and follow existing policies

Ensure project-related documentation is accurate and complete

Requirements

Master's degree in business, technology or related field preferred

7+ years of progressive project management leadership experience

Thorough knowledge of project and program management theories, models, and techniques

Experience managing a program or volume of projects with competing schedules

Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across large, mission-critical projects/programs

Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization

Demonstrated analytical skills, including problem solving and critical thinking, with attention to detail

Ability to facilitate meetings and manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy

Ability to gain and maintain credibility at all levels of the organization

Understanding of business process improvement and change management desired
