
Enterprise Application Administrator

Job Summary
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an Enterprise Application Administrator to join our national Information Technology Department in Omaha, NE. This position, reporting to the Director of Client Services, will be responsible for providing upper-tier technical support to the firm’s Attorneys, Help Desk and other staff as well as the review, analysis, development, modification and installation of new or existing applications to support the firm’s mission. This role is ideal for the motivated self-starter that enjoys working in concert with a team in a collegial and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Administer (Install / upgrade / implement) assigned software applications including Portal improvements, System integration, Workflows, Litigation Support
Partner with team members in shared responsibilities Analyze and determine software application needs
Design, create, modify and administer databases (MS SQL Server) and associated applications
Analyze and determine improvements to existing applications and possible new application needs
Assist in the creation of custom-coded solutions to improve processes and services (API and database connectivity between firm systems, internal tools, AI Tools, etc.)
Write or modify custom code for projects as assigned
Test and evaluate PC configurations as related to assigned applications
Provide instruction and/or documentation of assigned applications to support teams
Provide support to departments and offices as needed
Assist with special projects
Travel and overtime work are required when necessary
Qualifications: Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of Document Management Systems, NetDocuments experience preferred
Hands‑on utilization of AI systems and concepts, including developing prompts
Practical knowledge and ability in the development and management MS SQL Server database including SQL scripting, triggers, DTS, maintenance plans, etc. Experience with SQL 2005 a plus
Advanced knowledge with demonstrated ability in installing, integrating, upgrading and providing technical support for varied client/server application software in a Windows environment
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills along with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
Demonstrated commitment in providing upper tier troubleshooting and support to other layers of a support team
Qualifications: Education and Experience
High school degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced technical training preferred
3+ years of experience managing applications in an enterprise environment
3+ years of professional experience with application development concepts, scripting tools, languages, and platforms such as ASP, C#, HTML, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, VBA, VBScript, XML, SharePoint, IIS, PowerShell, etc. in a professional environment
Position Information
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000 per year commensurate with experience
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3:2
