Cultivation Facilities Specialist - Madison

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Cultivation Facilities Specialist will be responsible for taking inventory while reporting it to the Inventory and Compliance manager. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout the facility, and Receiving & Organizing incoming shipments.
Essential Functions
Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the facility (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.) including the grow room floors, corridors and bathrooms
Spray floors with disinfecting chemicals to promote biosecurity
Handle laundered items
Wash dishes when necessary
Receive, stock, and manage consumables inventory
Report supply restocking needs to Inventory Team
Make adjustments and small repairs as needed
Assist cultivation team with misc. tasks as needed
Collect Cleaning Validation Swabs
Work Environment
This job operates in both greenhouse and warehouse environments. Conditions in the greenhouse can be bright, with varying temperatures and humidities.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (heavy garbage bags and chemical containers). This position requires the ability to withstand higher temperatures 75 – 95 degrees and elevated humidity levels. This position requires working under intense, bright lights with sunglasses provided for eye protection. This position requires the passing of a respirator fit test and the ability to wear a full‑face respirator when chemical safety labels require one. Hours can be longer at times.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:10 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. Schedule flexibility is a requirement of the job, and longer hours may be required.
Travel
There may be occasional local day travel.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Ability to pass state mandated background check
Reliable Transportation
0-3 years of farming or janitorial work
Knowledge of cleaning techniques
Organizational skills
Ability to lift 50 lb
Ability to wear a fitted respirator
Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry.
Preferred Education and Experience
1+ years of farming or maintenance experience
Experience with cleanroom or other detailed cleaning
