Job Description
We are looking for a 2nd shift FSQA Technician to ensure company and customer quality standards are being met. The FSQA Tech will work under the supervision of the Quality Food Safety Supervisor and/or Quality Food Safety Manager where they will conduct quality tests, perform inspection checks, calibrate equipment, and communicate test results.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and revising testing procedures.
Conducting inspection checks on goods and production processes.
Performing manual and automated quality checks.
Ensuring employees adhere to safety and quality regulations.
Reporting safety and quality infringements to the QA/Food Safety Supervisor and/or the QA/Food Safety Manager.
Calibrating and cleaning testing equipment.
Advising on procedures to improve production efficiencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Ability to work independently and/or within the team.
Quality Assurance/Food Safety experience in a cGMP facility.
General Quality Assurance experience will also be considered.
Experienced with computer data entry required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times occasionally.
Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas.
