Overview
Rutgers University Golf Course is seeking a casual Golf Course Maintenance Worker. This role supports all aspects of the golf course day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities
Set the course up for daily play (moving tee markers, changing cups).
Maintain sand bunkers.
Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
Assist with landscape maintenance, including tree pruning, trimming hedges and grasses, and upkeep of bedding areas.
Assist with watering and learn irrigation system operations.
Ensure quality control by picking up trash, debris, sticks, etc.
Assist with cleaning of maintenance equipment and facilities.
Assist with project work as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience : High school or vocational school education, or equivalent experience.
Certifications and Licenses : Valid driver’s license.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Ability to safely operate motorized equipment; team player with a positive attitude.
Physical Demands : Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Availability Monday through Friday and on weekends/holidays; flexible shift times.
Special Conditions : Safe driving record.

Hourly wage ranges from $15.92 to $21.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Immunization Requirements

Failure to provide proof may result in rescission of the offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
