This position is 100% onsite in McKinney, TX.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior RF Test Systems Engineer located onsite in McKinney, TX supporting Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) Test Automation. The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment, hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers. The STaRS Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines. The section also supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.
What You Will Do
Troubleshoot test equipment, circuit boards, cables, etc.
Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work.
Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Work independently to drive toward goals.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior RF experience.
Typically requires five (5) years of experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering.
Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environments.
Experience communicating effectively within a cross functional team of test personnel (electrical, software, mechanical, etc).
Qualifications We Prefer
Knowledge of RF technology across Communications and Radar systems.
Experience with Agile Methodologies.
Experience using test software such as MATLAB, Test Stand, and/or Test Executive.
