The Fleet Validation Technician – Tire Intelligence supports the testing, validation, and deployment of Goodyear’s Tire Intelligence Solutions through hands‑on vehicle system troubleshooting and diagnostics. The role contributes to engineering development by creating technical documentation, installation guides, and training materials. Acting as a cross‑functional partner, the technician helps ensure solutions are production‑ready and effectively integrated into fleet environments.

What You Will Do
Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and testing to validate performance, durability, and safety of tire intelligence and automotive systems.
Support engineering design, development, and industrialization efforts in collaboration with the Senior Application Engineer and cross‑functional teams.
Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, installation manuals, test reports, and training materials for global use.
Enable effective knowledge transfer by supporting technology training and maintaining a train‑the‑trainer mindset for internal and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement by providing actionable feedback and adhering to automotive standards and OSHA safety requirements.
Serve as a GTIS ambassador by collaborating with internal teams, partners, dealers, and fleet technicians to ensure project success.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or 3+ years of project, mechanical or engineering technician experience; Master’s degree or ASE EV certification preferred.
Proven experience supporting engineering, project management, or cross‑functional initiatives within the automotive or commercial fleet environment.
