Our client, a well‑established land development consulting firm serving Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager. The right person may join at the Project Manager level or at a different level based on experience. This role offers hands on ownership from concept through construction in a collaborative environment that values creativity, learning, and professional growth.

This variety provides landscape architects with exposure to a wide range of site conditions, design challenges, and project types.

Hands On Project Ownership
You will be actively involved in all phases of design, permitting, and client coordination. This is not a siloed role. You will help shape project outcomes and represent designs before local boards and commissions.

Tools and Technology
Our client utilizes AutoCAD and other modern design tools to support efficient workflows and high‑quality deliverables.

What You’ll Do

Prepare master plans and site and landscape architectural design plans using AutoCAD

Design wetlands enhancement and wetlands creation projects

Conduct site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and soils testing related to septic and stormwater systems

Coordinate with clients, community officials, and consultants

Present site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions

Mentor junior staff and help create a strong learning environment

What You Bring
Required:

BS or MS in Landscape Architecture from a LAAB accredited program

Licensed Professional Landscape Architect

Minimum of two years of site design experience, including grading and site lighting

Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public and regulatory presentations

Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail

Experience across a variety of land uses, including residential, commercial, recreational, industrial, and institutional projects

Preferred:

Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD

Licensure in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and or Rhode Island

Compensation & Benefits Overview
Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 , depending on experience. Our client is open to discussing compensation outside this range for exceptional candidates.
