
Utility Electrician

The Utility Electrician reports to the Wells Utility Supervisor.
The primary duties of this position include:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively participates and accomplishes organizational, departmental, and workgroup goals and objectives.
Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage.
Designs functional electrical circuits for electrical systems.
Responsible for actively reducing energy use.
Troubleshoot electrical issues at booster and well sites.
Review and close work orders.
Create regular reports based on department activity.
This position has been designated as a medium work position, spending a majority of the workday in a Water Treatment Plant and/or an outdoor environment. To learn more about the different physical exertion levels as defined by the Social Security Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in electrical systems integration and system control wiring
Completion of an accredited four-year electrical apprenticeship program.
5 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.
Certified as a Journeyman Electrician.
ADEQ - Grade I Water Distribution or Water Treatment Certification within 1 year of hire.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt and eligible for overtime compensation.
