Overview
CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients across the United States and internationally.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment per work orders generated from a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and complete all documentation.
Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, air handling units, and variable air volume (VAV) / fan‑powered boxes.
Maintain safe operation of systems including electronic/pneumatic controls, oil/gas‑fired boilers, and auxiliary equipment such as pumps and de‑aerating tanks.
Diagnose problems using inspection and testing techniques while ensuring safe tool usage.
Familiarize quickly with facility layout and operating procedures for environmental controls.
Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and the standards of CGL, OSHA, and clients.
Inspect completed work for compliance with local building and safety codes.
Escort subcontractors during their work at the site.
Perform other preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as directed by CGL.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace during and after maintenance tasks.
Complete all required compliance, safety, and development training.
Provide mentorship and training to other technicians in basic trade skills.
Drive company vehicles or personal vehicles for more than 50% of business activities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
1–3 years of commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience.
Good working knowledge of HVAC equipment and at least one of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general building maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints and as‑built drawings.
Willingness to work occasional on‑call shifts.
Microsoft Office skills.
EPA 608 Certification is required; HVAC certification preferred.
Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug test and criminal background check.
Must be physically able to perform the work required, including driving requirements.
