
HVAC Technician - Tuesday-Saturday 3rd shift

Job Overview
We are looking to add a HVAC Technician to our growing team working a Tuesday–Saturday 10:00 pm–8:30 am shift. The Technician will be responsible for start‑up, normal operation, monitoring and shutdown of HVAC and equipment; troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair work of all mechanical related systems.
Training and Scheduling
Training will take place Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm for approximately six months. After training, hours will be Tuesday–Saturday 10:00 pm–8:30 am. Employees working premium shifts receive incentive pay such as shift differential and/or weekend pay.
Typical Responsibilities
Maintain coolers and freezers, including Ultra Low temperature Freezer
Maintain centrifugal and reciprocating refrigeration chillers
Maintain chilled water systems, including distribution and condenser pumps
Maintain air compressors
Operate electrical power systems and standby power generation equipment
Follow cGMPs and good business practices
Participate in rotational on‑call for site emergency work
Ensure safe and efficient maintenance of all plant manufacturing equipment and related support equipment, adhering to SOPs, cGMPs, GDPs and quality standards
Become fully gown qualified to work within production areas
Communicate and coordinate with each department and Facilities Management during planned and unplanned work events
Plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors for scheduled and/or non‑scheduled preventive maintenance or general work
Qualifications
Demonstrate basic problem‑solving skills
Learn and follow routine procedures independently and as part of a team
Comfortable and flexible to work in a changing environment
Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling at least 50 lbs
Build and maintain positive working relationships with the business
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective time‑management skills to meet deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general familiarity with computer systems
Experience Requirements
HVAC Technician II: 2+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 5+ years of related experience
HVAC III: 5+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experience
HVAC IV: 8+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experience
Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role. Electronic, PLC, mechanical and building automation systems experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred. EPA certified for refrigeration gases.
