We are looking for a skilled paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our collections litigation team. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including preparation of pleadings, building exhibits, briefs, and motions as needed. This is a high volume practice with expected additional growth to our current caseload. Candidate will work very closely with attorneys and paralegals in the Georgia office.
Responsibilities
Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, work with clients)
Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
Skills
Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal.
Applicable knowledge of complaints, motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, practices, etc.
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
Extensive computer and legal database software experience
Resourceful
Reliable
