
Sr Integration Consultant, State and Local Government

About The Role
A Technical Consultant is a member of Workday’s Global Professional Services organization dedicated to the implementation of our cloud‑based software within the public sector. The team specializes in the Integration, Reporting, Prism, and Data Conversion workstreams on Workday implementation projects, focusing on AI‑powered integrations and intelligent automation to deliver scalable, extensible solutions across the Workday ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Lead and project‑manage the integration workstream, hitting delivery dates and driving results.
Conduct discovery sessions to develop and document a thorough understanding of customer integration needs.
Design, build, and document high‑complexity technical solutions using the latest Workday tooling and AI capabilities to address complex customer and/or vendor requirements.
Explain complex AI and technical concepts in simple terms to both technical developers and non‑technical stakeholders.
Assist customers in testing and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure post‑production success.
Participate in internal initiatives and process improvement.
Basic Qualifications – Sr Integration Consultant (P4)
4+ years of experience with Workday Integrations, OR
6+ years of Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials domain experience in a State & Local Government setting AND 3+ years of experience in a technical role, OR
6+ years of experience with Integration workstream ownership and development AND 3+ years of Workday experience.
Basic Qualifications – Principal Technical Consultant (P5)
8+ years of experience with Workday Integrations, OR
8+ years of Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials domain experience in a State & Local Government setting AND 6+ years of experience in a technical role, OR
8+ years of experience with Integration workstream ownership and development AND 5+ years of Workday experience.
Other Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to supporting a fun and diverse workplace.
Experience working within or with the State & Local Government industry.
Experience taking a leadership role within a software, system, or application implementation.
Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle.
Advanced skills with Workday integration technologies such as Workday Studio and Orchestrate.
Active or previously held Workday Implementer Certification or Workday PRO Certification.
Demonstrated learning agility, ability to adapt quickly, learn from experiences, and apply knowledge to solve problems.
Strong technical acumen, including the ability to understand, apply, and troubleshoot technical information and systems.
Exceptional solutions design skills, with the ability to analyze business challenges and develop effective solutions.
Strong influencing skills, including persuasive communication and the ability to drive consensus and collaborate with stakeholders.
AI Fluency: Familiarity with AI concepts and tooling.
Ability to travel up to 25%.

Earnings and Benefits
Primary Location: Atlanta, GA, USA
Primary Location Base Pay Range: $117,000 USD – $175,400 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111,000 USD – $197,300 USD
Compensation may include the Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Each offer is based on geography, experience, skills, duties, and business need.
