Shift Work
This is a shift work position.
Responsibilities
Lost Creek Plant Operators are responsible for performing work essential to the processing of uranium at Lost Creek. This includes operating all systems in the uranium processing plant (IX, Elution, Precipitation, Filtration, Drying, Packaging, Water Treatment and Reagents) and maintaining regulatory compliance. While monitoring and operating the circuits of a uranium recovery processing plant, Operators conduct sampling, perform basic laboratory functions, record data, carry out inspections, perform minor repairs, and identify additional maintenance needs. Communication with other facility teams is essential to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
Qualifications
High‑school diploma or GED and/or at least six months of related experience and training. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Ability to operate pumps manually or via computer systems to transfer fluids/chemicals and produced material within plant systems and achieve production goals. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
