Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for a full‑time
Maintenance Supervisor
position at the Texas A&M University (TAMU) campus located at 1001 Texas Clipper Road, Galveston, TX 77554. Openings at other schools in the district may also be available.
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am‑4:30 pm.
Qualifications
• 2 years of maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibility, is required.
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Provide training and create work schedules for maintenance staff.
Evaluate employee performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
Mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
