Overview
ERG is a research and consulting firm that provides multidisciplinary support to federal, state, and commercial clients. We hire highly motivated individuals who can prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
We seek a senior scientist/engineer to support work for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on projects focused on characterizing hazardous waste sites and evaluating remedial alternatives.
Responsibilities
Provide research support on U.S. EPA, state, and nonprofit projects.
Review Superfund site documents, conduct mathematical modeling, and write and edit reports.
Collaborate frequently with employees from related disciplines.
Analyze and interpret scientific data for some projects.
Qualifications
Ph.D. plus five years of experience with hazardous waste remediation.
Strong written communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving and data analysis skills.
Applied experience with quantitative research in an academic or professional setting.
Experience developing written products for technical and non‑technical audiences.
