We are seeking a
Temporary – Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician
to calibrate and maintain production line and facilities equipment. You will be working with high‑precision, commercial and custom‑made equipment. This position is for a 5‑month leave of absence only.
Responsibilities
Proactively perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Assemble and test new production equipment.
Track maintenance and repairs of equipment using an electronic log system.
Purchase spare parts and contact equipment vendors and service providers.
Work with operators to understand equipment issues.
Be on call on alternating weekends.
Sustain 5S in your work area.
Qualifications
High school or technical school diploma.
Solid understanding of troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to read and understand electrical / mechanical diagrams and manuals.
3‑5 years’ experience as a manufacturing equipment maintenance technician.
Experience working with complex processes.
Experience working with mechanical, pneumatic and electronic equipment.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Preferred
Prior experience with high‑precision placement equipment is a plus.
Experience with optical components and alignment.
Experience in medical/optical/aerospace environments.
Compensation
Salary Range: $28/hr – $38/hr, depending on experience.
This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
