
Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
The general warehouse associate will assist in unloading and processing inbound material, scanning and loading outbound finished goods, moving material to the final location (Use FIFO), and keeping all areas of the warehouse clean and organized.
Duties/Responsibilities
Receiving & Stocking:
Unload incoming deliveries, fill out paperwork (Incoming Goods Sheet), and update warehouse management systems.
Order Fulfillment:
labeling, scanning, and processing orders for shipment.
Inventory Management:
Conduct cycle counts, inspect products for damage, and maintain accurate inventory counts. Microsoft Excel is used to track all cycle counts and KPIs associated to performance.
Safety Protocols:
Keep aisles, workstations, and storage areas clean, organized, and following all safety guidelines established for warehousing.
Shipping & BOLs:
BOLs & packing slips are completed in Microsoft Excel and must be printed for each truck departing DePalo Foods.
Equipment Operation:
Safely use forklifts and pallet jacks. DePalo training will be required.
Food Safety Protocol:
Follow all food safety, allergen control, and workplace safety procedures, including wearing required PPE.
Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean & organized work area.
Other:
Performs other related duties as requested by management.
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects (often 40-50+ lbs.), climb ladders, and stand/walk for long periods of time.
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, proficiency with inventory software/scanners, Microsoft Excel, great attendance, good handwriting skills, and basic math skills.
Certification:
Forklift certification is required.
Environment:
Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage/freezers.
Language:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Safety Conscious
Comply with all company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
