Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to optimize fleet performance and reliability.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed.
Respond to on-site repair requests and work efficiently in various conditions.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
3+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
Valid CDL license is a plus; must have a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with diagnostic and repair tools specific to diesel mechanics.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repairs.
