Piper Companies is seeking a Claims Operations Associate to support a temporary housing organization that assists policyholders displaced by fire, water damage, or other natural events. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and consistent follow‑up with claim adjusters, landlords, and insured clients.
The candidate will sit onsite 5 days a week in Greenwich, CT.
Responsibilities for the Claims Operations Associate
Source long‑term temporary housing options, develop rental values, and prepare housing budget proposals for adjuster approval.
Review lease details for accuracy, gather required landlord documentation, and manage signature routing for policyholders and landlords.
Coordinate move‑in processes, including condition forms, key handoff, furniture orders, and communication with all parties.
Submit funding requests to Accounting, ensure timely processing, and upload all housing documents into the CRM.
Qualifications for the Claims Operations Associate
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent follow‑up skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience interacting with claim adjusters, policyholders, landlords, real estate agents, or experience in a customer‑service–driven role.
Ability to maintain and update accurate CRM records.
Compensation for the Claims Operations Associate
$58,000-$63,000
Comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law
