This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify. The Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services (OCS) is recruiting for a full‑time Office Assistant 1 located in Anchorage, Alaska.
Job Duties
Responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing discovery documents, communicating with various agencies and the public via phone and email, creating and organizing case files, scanning, filing, faxing, and other clerical duties as needed. Provides daily courier service to OCS off‑site offices and other agencies. Offers backup support for the front desk and any other clerical duties.

Division vehicles may not always be available for staff use. Mileage reimbursement is available when a personal vehicle is used for work‑related matters. Personal vehicle insurance must be in place prior to use.
Successful candidates may be required to attend multiple training courses located in Anchorage.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Acceptance in full standing by an accredited college, including concurrent or dual enrollment programs.
A career readiness certificate with ACT WorkKeys scores of skill level 3 or higher in Graphic Literacy, Applied Math, and Workplace Documents.
Valid driver’s license and age 18 or older if a State vehicle is required for the role.
