Service Dispatcher

As a Service Dispatcher, you will receive and prioritize customer operations designated work orders, assess the type and urgency of service requests, assign to appropriate technicians, and continuously monitor service activities to ensure customer commitments are met.
Responsibilities
Exercise judgment to give precedence to the dispatch of requests and scheduled service orders using mobile data terminals, resource manager, customer service system, and voice radios.
Coordinate non‑time‑sensitive work orders to help fill potential downtime in the schedule.
Coordinate service work and provide support to other gas and electric operating divisions.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in business or a related major, or equivalent related work experience (typically three years of related, progressive experience if no degree).
Minimum three years of related experience.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Personal computer skills.
Willingness to work a variable rotating shift in a centralized dispatch center.
Subject to Department of Transportation mandated drug testing, including random testing.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.

Full‑time, rotating shift. 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Friday through Monday (four days).
