WINDOW ROCK ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT
is in search of:
FOOTBALL ASSISTANT COACH
THE WINDOW ROCK UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
serves a community that is marked with excellent athletes. The athletic programs are strongly supported by the community and school and you will not find a more supportive and more engaged crowd of fans anywhere else in this country!
These are programs that need Coaching Leaders.
We are looking for coaches with the heart of educators. We are looking for competent winning coaches that love the game but more importantly, love the student athletes.

All WRUSD #8 Coaches must have:
Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card ($ Fee)
NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching ($35 Fee)
Concussion in Sports – “What You Need to Know” (Free Course)
Current First Aid/CPR ($ Fee)
All Head Coaches (Certified and Non-Certified) must have the following:
Arizona Teaching Certificate and/or
NFHS Level 3 Certification:
a. Fundamentals of Coaching ($35 Fee)
b. First Aid, Health and Safety ($35 Fee)
c. Protecting Students from Abuse (Free Course)
d. Concussion in Sports (Free Course)
e. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Free Course)
f. Heat Illness Prevention (Free Course)
g. Bullying, Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors (Free Course)
h. Strength and Conditioning ($50 Fee)
i. Teaching and Modeling Behavior (Free Course)
j. Engaging Effectively with Parents (Free Course)
k. Sportsmanship (Free Course)
l. Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (Free Course)
m. “Sport Specific Course” or “Teaching of Sport Skills” if sport is not offered ($ Fee)
All Assistant Coaches (Certified and Non-Certified) must have the following:
Arizona Teaching Certificate and/or
NFHS Level 1 Certification:
a. Fundamentals of Coaching ($35 Fee)
b. Protecting Students from Abuse (Free Course)
c. Concussion in Sports (Free Course)
d. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Free Course)
All WRUSD #8 Football Coaches must complete the NFHS “Heads up Football” Courses:
