K-5 Nonpublic School Title I Teacher (1-year only, Summer 2026)
Location: St. Peter Catholic School
Work Schedule: Approximately 1-3 days/week; up to 6 hours/week, based on available funding and student needs.
Start Date: June 2026
End Date: August 2026 (end date based on available funding)
Pay: $35 per hour
Required Qualifications
Valid Minnesota Elementary Teaching License (K-6)
Knowledge of best practices in reading, math, and progress monitoring
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality reading and math instruction to individuals or small groups
Organized - documentation, paperwork, compliance activities
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to travel to a nonpublic school (or schools) within the ISD 622 boundary
Experience tutoring students in a nonpublic elementary school setting
Desired Qualifications
Trained in the Science of Reading (SoR)
Responsibilities
Provide in-person K-5 individual or small group instruction on summer student contact days at St. Peter's Catholic School
Collaborate with the nonpublic school to determine a schedule to support providing supplemental instruction in reading and/or math. Student groups may take place before, during, or after the school day, Monday‑Friday, as determined by the tutor and school.
Supplemental reading and/or math instruction
Progress monitoring to guide instruction
Documentation for Title I compliance
Support one ISD 622 nonpublic school
Communicate with ISD 622 Title I staff and nonpublic staff (principal, teachers) about student progress
