Description
Must be willing to work on an as needed basis. Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year; differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students; maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development; utilize best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction; manage student behavior in the classroom; create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in; participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities as needed; collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Hold or be eligible for WV Professional Teaching Certificate, Restricted Substitute Permit, Short‑Term Permit or Long‑Term Substitute Permit.
Have successfully completed a substitute teacher training course to obtain a WV Substitute Teacher Certification.
Must pass a background check.
Salary
Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
