Job Description
Maintains cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility per Chambers Center Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to:
Cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing locker rooms and thermal suites.
Spot‑cleaning all glass doors and windows, and sanitizing door handles.
Mopping, sweeping, and spot‑cleaning carpeting and floors when necessary.
Cleaning woodwork, walls, and windows when needed.
Dusting woodwork and shelving throughout the facility.
Replacing toiletries as needed in all locker rooms and restrooms.
Keeping equipment and supplies in order; requesting re‑supply when needed.
Cleans and maintains the functioning of the salt generator in the salt therapy room.
Ensures thermal suite, locker room, and linen supply areas are well stocked and cleaned.
Assists Chamber’s ReFresh Café on breaks or management‑assigned tasks.
Follows department policies and procedures on cleaning, disinfecting and deodorization.
Responds to major spills and page calls promptly.
Obtains all supplies and equipment; cleans and restocks housekeeping room at the end of each shift.
Maintains laundry bin organization for the laundry vendor to pick up and drop off each day.
Properly opens and closes each shift according to the SOPs.
Works well with other departments to ensure a high level of guest service.
Assists guests in a courteous and polite manner.
Communicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.
Reports any repairs to management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred.
Experience in housekeeping in a hospital, hospitality, hotel, or spa setting preferred.
Must be able to be on feet for most of the shift.
Individual must be customer and employee focused.
