+ Hosts are the first and last impression of a business, so they should be friendly and welcoming.* **Managing wait times**
+ Hosts manage lines at the door and ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner.* **Managing the seating chart**
+ Hosts allocate guests to tables and ensure that the seating chart is organized so that the headcounts are fairly distributed.* **Other responsibilities**
+ Assist with clearing and resetting tables
+ Assist with drink refills
+ Cleaning and restocking restrooms with supplies
+ Cleaning front area to make it presentable for guest arrival## QualificationsHosts should have strong communication and organizational skills, a friendly disposition, and the ability to stand or walk for long periods. They should also be willing to learn computerized reservation and table management systems.
