We’re partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization in NYC seeking a
Social Services Attorney
to support vulnerable populations and make a real impact in the community.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine
direct client advocacy, courtroom experience, and mission-driven work .
MUST have experience in Elder Law
What You’ll Do:
Represent clients in court and administrative hearings
Handle matters related to orders of protection
Advise social workers on legal aspects of active cases
Maintain case documentation and reporting
Lead outreach initiatives and legal education workshops
Support advocacy efforts, including policy and legislative initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with court appearances and/or administrative hearings
Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
Experience working with elder abuse, social services, or vulnerable populations strongly preferred
Bilingual is a plus
Location: NYC (Hybrid – must be flexible for court appearances)
