Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM discipline
Active Secret Security Clearance
Experience leading teams performing test planning, test execution, and test reporting
Willingness and ability to mentor junior engineers.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Job Description
As the Environmental Test Associate Manager on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design and execute qualification and acceptance tests that ensure missile defense systems meet environmental requirements and perform reliably.
Your work will directly support the integration of advanced technologies and the development of solutions that protect people and nations from emerging missile threats.
Desired Skills
Experience with unit/subsystem environmental testing (e.g. shock, vibe, thermal, EMI/EMC) and requirements verification.
Systems engineering experience with requirement verification, product qualification, and acceptance.
Experience with Missile Defense Agency or other large missile programs.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply standards such as SMC‑S‑016, AIAA S‑080, AIAA S‑081, AIAA S‑110, AIAA S‑113, and AIAA S‑114
Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
