JOB SUMMARY
General Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing building and facility maintenance, preservation, and repairs. Basic duties and responsibilities will include minor electrical and mechanical repairs, plumbing and bathroom repairs, building interior and exterior preservation and painting, minor carpentry and drywall repairs, office remodeling, minor equipment repairs, filter changes, emptying trash and recycling cardboard, among other general cleaning needs. Perform any additional maintenance, repair, and or cleaning tasks as directed by leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe and clean working environment for yourself and others, including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following all industry safety practices, GMP, LOTO, and other OSHA-required practices.
Performs minor repairs and provides support to Maintenance Team for basic maintenance
Responsible for minor facility improvements and preventative maintenance (filter replacements, furniture / equipment assembly and or movement) and daily housekeeping responsibilities
Performs all cleaning and preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on all assigned equipment as scheduled by the maintenance planner
Document all work performed and all parts used through Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) via work order assignments and communicate material needs with the Maintenance Inventory Clerk
Communicates with team members regarding any issues that require interventionor escalation
Supports 5S and general cleanliness of the facilities, including sweeping floors, wiping down equipment, keeping skids stacked neatly in designated areas, removing broken skids or pieces, stacking empty totes onto skids, and moving skids to dock area
Performs all other duties as assigned to support general maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in general maintenance including basic electrical and mechanical experience
Can work in a team environment and willing to take direction from others
Capable of standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Computer proficient on Microsoft Windows based computer operation
Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, and written instructions
Must be able to pass a respirator fit test
Ability to become forklift, scissors lift, and articulated manlift certified
Knowledge of paint systems, electrical fabrication, and welding is a plus
Candidates must be able to work overtime and weekends depending on business needs
