Role Overview
We are seeking a
System Requirements Engineer
with strong experience in systems engineering and system design within complex automotive E/E environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining, managing, and integrating system requirements across multi-disciplinary domains, while supporting validation, safety, and issue resolution activities.
This role requires a balance of technical depth, a proactive mindset, and strong collaboration skills to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
The candidate should have hands‑on experience in writing system requirements from scratch.
Develop, analyze, and manage system‑level requirements aligned with customer and stakeholder needs
Create and author requirements from scratch and ensure completeness and clarity
Perform requirements decomposition from system to subsystem and component levels
Define and manage system interfaces (ICDs) across multiple domains
Support system architecture definition and ensure alignment with overall E/E architecture
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for system integration and validation planning
Participate in DFMEA activities, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
Support issue investigation and resolution throughout the system lifecycle
Ensure compliance with INCOSE‑aligned systems engineering principles
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems engineering processes
Strong experience in Systems Engineering within automotive E/E systems
Requirements management, traceability, and authoring from scratch
Interface definition and cross‑system integration
Experience supporting:
DFMEA
Validation planning and execution
Issue resolution and root cause analysis
Knowledge of:
MBSE concepts (SysML, modeling tools – preferred)
Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, JAMA, or similar
Behavioral Expectations (Critical)
Strong listening skills and openness to feedback
Proactive and self‑driven; takes initiative without waiting for direction
Ability to identify risks and gaps early and drive mitigation
Highly collaborative with strong cross‑functional communication skills
Adaptable and quick to learn new tools and processes
Mentor and guide junior engineers on systems engineering practices
Share best practices in requirements development and system design
Contribute to improving team capability and engineering maturity
Support process improvement and standardization initiatives
Experience in automotive domains (ADAS, chassis, powertrain, body electronics, etc.)
Exposure to E/E architecture and vehicle‑level system integration
Experience with MBSE, SysML, or architecture modeling tools
Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, or similar standards
