Shift & Schedule
Work Shift B – 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. with a rotating schedule. Employees are always off Sundays.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance.
Must provide own tools.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Perform air brake, electrical, and air conditioning work.
Read and understand assignments; communicate orally and in writing.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical & Environmental Conditions
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
Employees are frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; vibration; occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. Noise levels are usually loud.
Rehire Criteria
Minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire limit: no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
