As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician I, you’ll help ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our fleet by supporting the repair and restoration of aircraft engines and components. You’ll work hands‑on with parts and equipment while collaborating with a skilled, safety‑focused team.
In this role, you’ll contribute to work that matters—supporting operational excellence while continuously learning and growing in a team‑oriented environment. You’ll be responsible for:
Cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and restoring aircraft engines and components
Performing tasks such as removal, replacement, blending, burnishing, blasting, weighing, and coating
Conducting inspections during rework and accurately documenting maintenance procedures, part origin, and condition
Working collaboratively with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and welders to return parts to a serviceable condition
Performing all work in compliance with Delta, OEM, and FAA standards
Demonstrating safety‑conscious behaviors in all operational processes
Work Schedule
This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Specific duties may vary by location and operational needs.
Qualifications
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
An FAA Powerplant (P) Certificate
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to operate and adjust aviation shop equipment to meet quality and tolerance standards
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation such as manuals, diagrams, wiring schematics, and blueprints
A demonstrated commitment to following safe work practices
Ability to learn and apply new skills, procedures, and policies in a changing environment
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
Flexibility to manage shifting priorities and multiple work demands
