Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor drafting teams, ensuring accurate, high‑quality technical drawings and plans.
Perform senior‑level drafting tasks, converting survey data and field notes into detailed plans.
Coordinate with professional land surveyors and field teams to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update drafting templates and standards, and introduce advanced tools to optimize processes.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure deliverables meet regulatory standards and ASCE’s mission of public safety and sustainability.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
10‑15 years of experience in survey drafting on civil and municipal projects, with significant supervisory experience.
Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS platforms, and pipeline network design, and familiarity with surveying tools.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
