What You’ll Do
Serve as the project lead on land surveying assignments from planning to delivery
Review and interpret field data, legal documents, and historical records
Prepare plats, maps, legal descriptions, and survey exhibits to jurisdictional standards
Supervise and mentor field crews and junior office staff
Communicate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct property and boundary research, prepare proposals, and manage budgets/schedules
Operate survey equipment and use drafting software to complete deliverables
Ensure quality control and compliance with local/state requirements
What You Bring
6+ years of experience in land surveying (civil or infrastructure focus preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Trimble Access/Survey Pro, and Trimble Business Center
Ability to lead projects independently and manage multiple deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of local survey laws, mapping, and subdivision practices
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
PLS license or LS, LSIT
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience working with public agencies and private development firms
