Staff Accountant
Location: Princeton Area (Primarily Onsite with Some Hybrid Flexibility)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing, privately held company in the identification software, security, and sound equipment industry. This is a newly created role driven by a recent upgrade within the accounting function under new leadership. The company offers a collaborative environment and strong opportunity for professional growth.
About the Company
Privately held, family-owned organization in growth mode
U.S.-based distribution with products manufactured internationally
Accounting team of 4 (Controller, 2 Senior Accountants, and 1 transactional team member)
Recently transitioned ERP systems from Sage to NetSuite
US GAAP compliant
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze cash reporting
Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger
Assist with balance sheet and financial statement preparation
Record journal entries and accruals
Support month-end close process
Conduct financial analysis and support reporting needs
Assist with inventory-related accounting and reconciliation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience working in an ERP system (NetSuite a plus)
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
