
Intake Clinician (LMSW, LPC) - Overnight

Responsibilities
The Intake Clinician (Admissions Counselor) is responsible for the coordination of assessments of incoming patients and the initiation of the admissions process with the Intake Specialist. The Intake Clinician provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process under the direction of the Intake Director.
Hours: 7pm to 7am, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends.
Qualifications
Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field or licensed RN.
Experience: Two years in the area of substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions and managed care preferred.
License: Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, or LCSW, RN, LFMT license required.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle with Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
