Responsibilities
The
Payroll Coordinator
is responsible for accurately maintaining proper payroll documentation records and procedures for the weekly and biweekly payrolls.
In addition, you will:
Capture timecard entries for the weekly and biweekly employees
Interpret payroll implications to process the proper pay transaction
Perform an audit review of new hires, changes, and termination paperwork to coincide with the changes in Oracle
Gather HR and payroll documentation to save to our electronic employee folder
Complete external Verification of Employment documents and government employee documentation
Handle Income Withholding Order and garnishments
Promptly and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands‑on approach to your work
You are proficient in Microsoft Office suites
You have excellent oral and written communication skills
You have excellent time‑management, organizational planning, and problem‑solving skills
You follow instructions, respond to management direction, and keep commitments
You have strong leadership and project management skills
You are able to manage, establish, and communicate clear goals and objectives
Compensation
Salary: $20–$22 per hour, depending on the experience.
