Front Desk Receptionist – Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center
Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center is a high‑quality, service‑oriented facility accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. The position is part‑time and requires an immediate start.
Responsibilities
Interface with patients and families, physicians, vendors and staff.
Admit patients and process paperwork.
Update patient demographics and information in the system.
Collect balances due and document in the billing system.
Handle funds per office procedures.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Assist with insurance verification.
Assist with chart preparation and other business office duties.
Maintain reliability, dedication, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
1+ year of clerical experience in healthcare.
Experience in insurance verification.
Ability to operate required office equipment.
Medical terminology and computer experience are beneficial.
Excellent communication skills.
Pay Range
$23.36/hr – $26.56/hr (wages vary based on qualifications and experience).
